Brahms concert fills venue

CML's concert in February featured the chamber version of Brahms's German Requiem, accompanied by Julian Barber and Andrew Tait at the piano.

St James's in Piccadilly was the venue for a near sell-out concert in which the choir also performed Jonathan Dove's The Passing of the Year, to a large and appreciative audience.

Soloists Joanna Weeks (soprano) and Edward Davison (baritone) contributed to a memorable evening of contrasting works.

CML sings for The Prince of Wales’s Foundation for Children and the Arts

For the third year running, CML provided the choral music for The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts’s annual fund-raising carol concert, which will also be broadcast on Classic FM. The choir appeared at St James’s Piccadilly alongside Miranda Richardson, Celia Imrie, John Sessions, and other artists on Friday 11 December, 2009.

BBC gives choir singing endorsement

Collegium Musicum of London made an appearance on television last month - as part of the My Life in Verse series. Engaged to illustrate Malorie Blackman's affection for William Blake, the choir provided a committed rendition of the old stalwart Jerusalem, recorded at St James's church, Piccadilly.
